In this class we will embark on a simple dress construction with just a tiny amount of hand sewing involved. The second phase is to turn this soft feminine shape into an altered sculpture with individual free-spirited exploration. Part of the process is to allow yourself unconventional and inventive thought process to stimulate your creative sparkle. Using a myriad of techniques, we will stitch, cut, paint, stiffen, distress, and alter the dress to illustrate your own personal artistic statement. |
