Inspirational Studio Muse

As an artist I find that there are times when I get creatively “stuck”.  Where nothing seems to be working for me and where I don’t remember why I love creating or what joy it brings me. At those times I rely on my muse.  One of the dictionary’s definitions states that a muse is a source of inspiration; a guiding genius. To really listen to that source, sometimes we have to focus on something that visually moves us, something that creates or sparks an idea, which sparks another and so on.

In this class we will be creating an Inspirational Studio Muse.  The form and shape is almost that of a windchime but it is not musical.  Rather it is a visual story told via objects and textures and how they relate to our feelings and creativity and when those “stuck” feelings reappear, we need simply gaze upon them to inspire our artistic souls.

CLASS KIT FEE $15.00 - payable directly to instructor - Includes heavy wire, fabric pieces, ribbon & other fibers, jump rings, images printed on fabric, baby wipes, plate for paint mixing, rubber gloves, cups for water and paper towels.
